Oy Bornicon & Salming Ab is a young and dynamic
alcohol importing company.

We have focused on the sales, marketing and beverage bargaining of wines, beers, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
The company was founded in Finland in 2014 as a subsidiary of Swedish Bornicon & Salming Ab and became a family owned company in summer 2017 owned by Samawa Inspiration Oy.

You can take the girl away from the ferries, but never the ferries away from the girl! I have 20 years of experience of the Travel Retail and Duty Free business, first by working onboard the ferries on the Baltic Sea and then for the last eight years for an importer. On the ferries I have worked in all departments except the engine room, but quickly found out that my strengths lay in sales and social communication. When one's passions are wine and travelling, the Travel Retail department is the perfect place for me! At Bornicon & Salming I am the main key contact and brand manager when it comes to Travel Retail. My goal is to make sure that our products can be found in the shops and restaurants on all the ferries on the Baltic Sea. I also make sure that the crew knows our products and by executing staff trainings I give them the keys to sell them to the millions of passengers who travel on the ships every year. When needed, I help the rest of my team in other business tasks, like in restaurant sales and at fairs.

I am a retail-focused expert with experience in Marketing and Sales, Product Development and Business Development. I have fifteen years of work experience within the retail and FMCG industry and have previously worked both in a brewery as well as for alcoholic beverage companies for longer periods – leaving the HoReCa area very familiar to me. My goal is to build strong customer relationships, implement innovative products and services in order to improve the client experience and increase profitability for our customers.

I have 20 years of work experience of international alcohol importing companies and can proudly say that I wouldn't change a day out of it. It's a rapid field, with both joyful people and extraordinary products. The alcohol business is quickly developing alongside the modern, global world. My strong side is customer service, and I have experience in both HoReCa and Alko sales. I'm competent in sales, marketing, logistics and coordination. At Bornicon & Salming my main focus will be working with Alko,  but I am very happy that I will have the possibility to expand my knowledge to the travel retail and the retailstore field. The team also seem to be superb!

After a long history of working in restaurants, I have spent the past 20 years with international beverage groups working with customer service, HoReCa-retailers, restaurant chains as well as independent restaurants. I believe in long-term and customer relationships, based on commitment and trust. My strengths are my extensive know-how about both the beverage industry as well as the products I work with.
